DHI2027 Registration
Registration opens on July 15, 2026.
(Registration form will be available soon.)

Payment must be completed within one week after registration. If payment is not confirmed within one week, the registration will be cancelled. We plan to use PayPal as the payment method.
Presentation Submission
Presentation submission information and further details will be available around October 2026.
Special Exhibitions & Booths
Special exhibitions (including booth displays) will be announced from January 2027.

登録後は1週間以内に銀行振込にてお支払いください。
1週間以内に入金が確認できない場合、登録はキャンセルとなります。

The Deaf Museum
“Journey Back in Time”
Exploring and Preserving Deaf Heritage

Around the world, Deaf communities have developed their own unique histories, cultures, and sign languages. Through photographs, films, documents, and other historical records gathered from many countries, this exhibition invites visitors on a journey through time to discover the richness and diversity of Deaf heritage.

By exploring these shared memories and experiences, we not only deepen our understanding of the past but also strengthen our connection to the present and our responsibility for the future.

We hope this exhibition will inspire conversations among participants and create opportunities for researchers, historians, museum professionals, and community members to exchange ideas, share experiences, and discover new perspectives together. Through these encounters, we hope to foster greater understanding and appreciation of Deaf heritage and inspire its continued preservation and transmission to future generations.

ろう博物館
－ タイムトラベル －
世界のろう文化遺産を巡る旅、未来への架け橋

世界には、それぞれ異なるろう者の歴史、文化、手話言語があります。
本展示では、世界各国から集められた写真や映像、文書などの貴重な記録を通して、多様なろう文化遺産を巡るタイムトラベルへ皆様をご案内します。

過去から受け継がれてきた記憶や経験に触れることで、ろうの歴史への理解を深めるとともに、現在、そして未来へとつながる新たな気づきや学びを育む機会となることを願っています。

さらに、この展示をきっかけに参加者同士の対話が生まれ、研究者や歴史家、博物館関係者、地域で活動する人々が知見や経験を共有し、新たな発見や学びにつながる場となることを期待しています。

世界のろう文化遺産をともに探求し、未来へつないでいく――

その新たな一歩となることを願っています。
